We are the Southeastern Michigan Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), a non-profit national organization. ASCE’s mission is to provide essential value to our members, their careers, our partners and the public by developing leadership, advancing technology, advocating lifelong learning and promoting the profession.

Our Southeastern Michigan Branch serves members of the civil engineering profession in the greater Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

What’s New

Save the date for the Southeastern Branch Annual Meeting at the Bath City Bistro on Saturday, May 5th.    

The Legislative Affairs Committee will host their annual program on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:30am at Marinelli's Restaurant in Madison Heights, MI.  Representative Brad Jacobsen of the 46th District and Melissa Yutzey of Kelly Cawthorne will update us on the challenges facing transportation funding in Michigan

Transportation Committee presents a lunch meeting on Soil Characterization In-Situ and in the Laboratory by Image Processing presented Prof. Roman Hryciw of the University of Michigan.  The presentation will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The 16th Annual ASCE CYM Golf Outing is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Greystone Golf Club in Romeo. See the Upcoming Events tab for a copy of the Registration form to participate in this highly anticipated event.

Please note that monthly Board meetings now take place the first Wednesday of each month. As always, everyone is welcome to attend the Board’s monthly meetings to discuss ideas and get involved in the Branch.  Meetings begin at 7:15am at Nello's Restaurant in Royal Oak, MI.
